John & Missy Woodward
Then
John’s interest in cars started in his teens with all makes and models. Out of high school, John started working at Apache Standard, a full-service gas station in Rochester, MN. While there, John earned his ASE certification and went on to work with his uncle at A/F Auto.
1990
John met Missy through her brother and the two were married in July 1990. Shortly after marrying, John & Missy moved to Kasson, MN, where John began working at Kasson Motors and Exhaust, and then Kasson Napa.
1993
In 1993, John opened his own auto repair shop, Woodward Repair LLC.
2008
Missy joined the team full-time in 2008. Missy handles the financial end of the business while John works in the back shop area with the other technicians; an arrangement that suits the couple well.
Now
John is now an ASE Master Technician and Woodward Repair LLC is an established part of the Kasson, MN, community. One of John & Missy’s favorite things about their business is being able to work with the same customers year after year, and then having their extended families follow. John and Missy also have great working relationships with other shops in the surrounding area, offering referrals and using each other’s equipment to get a job done.
